Contact Information for an Italian Car Company

Since Italy is part of Europe, you should be able to speak to a representitive at the company who speaks both Italian and English.

Your best bet is to actually try calling the phone number listed on the website.

Sadly we have done this several times, with little to none success,

That's why I was hopeing someone here may have contact information for them that may have dealings with them or similar.

They actuially have several items we are interested in. But the language barrier is pretty strong with this case.

Why don't you give "Babel Fish" a shot? You can translate up to 150 words or so as well as whole web pages. Maybe you can avoid having to hire a translator. Good luck

Sorry, maybe we have misunderstood here.

They have an english version of their page.

But their e mail on the pages is a non functioning one. It bounces all the time,, and the fill in the blank type of information request seems to work but no one ever replies to an question.

Hi NSS,

I tried sending them an eMail at their "contact" link and it did not bounce.

try any or all of the following:

• Check with the Italian embassy in your city;
• try the Italian Yellow Pages (online);
• check with the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industries;
• try finding another source for the item you're looking for.

This might help...I ran a 'whois' on the domain:

I don't know what they have for phone books over there but you could look up the individuals shown or send some snail-mail messages to the addresses listed.

P.S. I do see that their website registration is expiring today...if they've closed down shop then the domain should dissapear over the next little while as DNS servers get updated and the website will stop working since it's name will no longer point to the web server.

a finger on a URL will give the admin's address, not necessarily the website's owner. but this can also be a good place to start.

This may answer everything, if the domain dies, the company itself may die shortly, or already is. In either case thy may be a victim of the economy, and not a good source to get parts fromin the long run anyway.

Problems such as these are warning signs. I usually see it like this: if they are interested, they help you find them, contact them etc. And they respond ASAP. In situations like yours, I usually look for other suppliers.

Even if you get through, there may be more trouble down the road. This is not a strict correlation, however. I just may be wrong in this case (well, a very remote possibility really).

On the other hand you may be running into some European snobery. I once had to try to obtain some Eurail passes for a US Admiral and his wife who were visiting France on vacation. I contacted the French Consolate's office in NYC and after months of trying was never able to get through. One call from a friend that spoke frog was enough to get the tickets. Once he started talking frog the "receptionist" imediately replied in perfect English. She had just been gaming me for months.

Prefer to deal via e mail, especially when it comes to language situations. plus their phone number is there. On the site, but did you ever notice, the text visible for general questions, e mail, and the actual address when clicked on is different?

Of course again not the situation, I'll try using my home e mail address just to see what happens.

this is weird, I guess they re newed their domain it's still running..

NSS, I think your admin would be in a better position to sort this out.

what I can do is tell him that you are my friend and give him your email address, so they can also check why your email seems like they're not getting through.
