Allan Bradley MicroView Cat2707 MVP232

03/17/2009 12:45 AM

What configuration software is needed to program this little MicroView panel?

I got this panel from a mate and need it to be programmed so that it will display temperatures and settings being monitored by a micrologix 1200 Allan Bradley PLC.

How hard would it be to use the software if I can get any?

What pc would be needed, i.e. windows 95/98 or even older?

Any info will help,THANKS

The software used for programming the Mciroview is 2707-NP2 from Allen bradley and is very intuitive to use. This software can be used with window XPprofessional, widiow2000, Windows95/98. The only catch is that it will from a DOS prompt command line. The user manual will help to understand the software package.

Good Luck.

hello

i think that you need to have 2707-NP -programming software for this micro view , aso cable DH485 cable -with PIC to use with PC.It supports MS-DOS not windows.

If possible , try to migrate in to Panel View Micro -2711 family .

I handled all the products 7 years ago.

i think you can use this 2707-NP programming software with Windows 95/98 /XP ..but it's MS-DOS based software

you need extra hardware like PIC ( 232 to D485 Converter) and cable to do modifications
