MCCB Query

03/18/2009 3:52 PM

Is it 16A, MCCB available in ABB, Snieder make?

Whether is it possible to install a 30 mA earthleakage release in MCCB, like MCB?

Yes. Take a look at this product announcement on GlobalSpec.

Hi

actually as per IEC standards, MCCB will start from 125 A (Frame size), so it is very difficult to get MCCB of 16 A of ABB or Schneider,

It is better to use RCBO then MCCB of such a lower current which has incorportated protection of MCB and RCCB (Earth leakage)

Best regards

Hi Gents,

Thanks for the reply.but our client specifically asking MCCB for heat tracing loads in one of our project evnthough it is load current for each circuit will be 16A. How we can defend them, i dont know. we consider (ELCB+MCB) 16A.

S.Elan.
