FM modulator using NE566

Can any one help me out in making FM modulator using NE566 i tried with one circuit which is in NE566 data sheet i don't get output. If any body have circuit kindly help me...

Hello guest,

Whenever I have made a circuit and it doesn't work, it is almost always either a bad connection somewhere or a mistake I made in the wiring.

I suggest (in this order):

  1. Go over the circuit visually, making sure that the wiring you did is the same as the shematic. Fix anything that may be off and retry.
  2. Point test the circuit for anticipated voltages starting with the power supply and then at various points in the circuit.

Thank you for your valuable comment. did u use the circuit which was in d 5th page of datasheet of ne566 if so can u tell me the values of the R1, C1 and C2 u used. If not can u send me the circuit u used to my mail id r.raghu88@gmail.com

What frequency are you trying to get out of the NE566? The values of R1 and C1 are a function of the desired output frequency. The value of C2 is a function of the modulation input frequency.
