If it's for encapsulating, protecting against corrosion and sea water, a polyurethane type V (100% solid, elastomeric membrane) such as Polibrid 705 is the perfect product for your project. DFT= 60-80 mils This is a long term solution (30 years min). If you are looking for a much higher cost and short term solution any good cycloaliphatic or polyamide epoxy made for immersion service will do.. it more expensive on the long run as the epoxy will last 7-15 years max... the 705 should last at least 30-40 years...

If you give more information it will be easier to recommend the perfect product for your project...

kgb,

We may be able to help. Please furnish more details on the slab, and we'll go from there!

it is wonder to hear raft foundation thickness as 150 mm. any way to decide water proofing to 5m below ground it should be know water table height.assuming because of near sea water table almost close to ground level give two options

1.if you can have very good dry surface to recive raft concrete by doing proper dewatering , you can go for a bitumen torchon application -two layers best

2.if quite wet better to use geotextile bentonite membrane

KGB,

Am I to understand, you have applied a crystalline product to this slab and are not happy with the results?

I may be able to waterproof your slab, but only if you have a virgin surface that will accept and allow product penetration into the concrete matrix. The treatment itself is very inexpensive, however you may have a considerable cost in surface preparation if a barrier must be removed beforehand.

More definitive information is needed before commencing application to protect this structure, as you require.

Although a good deal more information is required for a full recommendation, you may want to look at a Canadian product, sold here in Panama as "Liquid Rubber", spray on, Environmentally benign. I have successfully used this product for roof sealing, potable water tank lining, etc. Bonds to almost anything (old concrete may pose a problem due to surface degradation/oxidation).

Only doing waterproofing to outer skin will just have to be a maintenance item for many years. Waterproof the whole slab interior. Good for 100's of years. Stablecrete is used on seaside construction and bridges in this area with excellent results. Sprays on and penetrates the concrete - old or fresh pored. Minimum maintence or none. I buy it from Conselcor, Indian Harbor Beach, Fl.
