	How the capacity of air release valves is calculated? Any standard or web link formula?

	Is the subject "quick release valves"? These are provided adjacent to single-acting air motors so that the motor's chest is depressurised locally quickly rather than venting back through the air line and solenoid valve feeding it. Here's a rule-of-thumb. In process work, if it happens in less than 1 sec, it isn't real. If the quick release valve won't vent as fast as that, then the chest is too large. How quick does something need to be? 	It is not quick release valve. These valves are normally on large pump discharge lines.
