Pretty simple really. One of the output lines will be hooked to current transformer. This ct output will then be used to control an electromagnet that is used to control a pilot operated spool valve that controls the hydraulic flow to the steam valve. When the current transformer experiences an increase in current it then increases the current to the electromagnet which than increases it's "pull" on the spool allowing it to open more which than puts in more steam to the turbine. This feed back system keeps the turbine at a constant speed with increased load and verse visea.

so where does the oil used in this system come from?

does it come from the turbine lubrication system or separate system?

if separate system, so it needs additional pump only for the governor?
