what is the name of the instrument used to measure hot spots in the switchyard. please help me with the name of the above and where i can buy it

FLUKE has a few models of Thermal scanners, but be ready to spend a few thousand bucks ...

There are several ways.

Infrares detectors might work.

Like General Monitors.

thermal imaging camera is best portable intrument for hotspot mesuremnt in s/w yard. control panel wiring connection tightness, bassbar tightness.
