Power Ratings and Diesel Generators

04/07/2009 7:02 AM

hii.. as a part of my project i am planning to synchronize 2 diesel generators of different power rating. The rest of the conditions are fine. Is there any precaution i need to take before doing this. I have synchronized 7 generators with same rating. but regarding the above said i am not sure.

Dear,

System is same as that you may have used to synchronise 7 dg of same rating.

Only care to take for accurate load sharing by settings in the load sharing controller , with correct CT ratio selection. So, no dg is over loaded & reverse power faults are minimised.
