Measuring Angular Movement

04/09/2009 1:27 AM

Hi All!

Can you guide me about inclisensor?

I've viewed it in cloth dyeing machine. It is being used there for measurement of angular movement. It has been installed on an end of a shaft. This shaft rotates 0 ~ 120 degree.Sensor gives 4 ~ 20mA output when it rotates with shaft. This output signal is used to vary speed of motor through VFD and maintain required tension on cloth. I could not understand its working principle. I need some sensors as machine spares. but could not find any brand or details about this sensor.

Do you mean incline sensor, or perhaps intellisensor?

I read it as an incline sensor or "inclination sensor" only because the OP seems to be measuring angular movement in the form of a sweep in one of the standard quadrants.

I dont know your incliesnsor. but if you wish to measure angular movement, there are lots of sensor for your select.

opt electric sensor , rotation transformer, and speeding generator (ac or dc) and autosynmotor and hall etc.

both of them can be transmitt to 4/20ma output

DIRIS

Do you mean the weft straightener devices used in open width fabric proceesing[stenter, batching]machines?Perhaps during your observation the machine could have been running with a coloured fabric,a probable illusion of yours as a dyeing machine.Pl recheck. In textile open width process machines, a weft straightness sensing and perpendicularity adjustment device[electromechanical] is used to prevent so called weft bowing defect clearin of fabrics..This device senses the angularity/perpendicularity of warp and weft threads and adjusts the feeding giude rolls to get a straight feeding [horizontal] feeding of fabric in batching, stenter finishing machines. If this statement is justified, look for search-weft straighteners in stenters-textile process/finishing machines.Japanese devices are seen working with very high efficiency.

It is not a weft straightener. I've found. It is "inclinometer".

hi Diris

I think it is fabricated with the machine itself so as to match the VFD speed which syncronise with master drive ,consult with machine agent they can help you a better way . what I ve seen is a toriod coil given to it a constant voltage and the variable point makes a way to signal of 1 to 5vdc . hope you get it what you need

regards
