PVC pipe drop tester information.

11/16/2006 4:56 PM

I need to build a drop tester for PVC pipes of different diameters and pressure schedules. This is a very simple construction where a calibrated weight is dropped from a known height to check crash resistance. problem is that I am looking for the ASTM or (similar) test method number, and plans for building this tester, especially the size and weight of the weights. any help out there?

Wangito.
