Loading Glass into a Furnace

we base colour glass and put it in furnace at about 800C. which metal plate can be used for loading glass that is very smooth and does not precipitate so glass dont crack

Hi Guest,

Are talking about the batch charger to loading in cullet in the melter ? for soda lime glass i think 800 deg c is not enough to melt.

Pls let us knw what type of glass you are producing ? base colour flint glass ?
