Cooking for Engineers

Check out this site I just found out in the Blogosphere. It's called Cooking for Engineers. It's a great site for those of us with analytical minds, a passion for food and a desire to find out what makes food delicious (scientifically speaking, of course).

Alton Brown

Alton Brown's Good Eats on Food Network is the greatest culinary chemistry show in existence. He explains the whole reason for how and why starches form and not just the how of cooking, but the why. Most shows just show you how to cook a single meal, he teaches you the basic principles behind actual cooking.
