What is the latest research carried out in investigating turbulence flow?

I only know about homogenous and isotropic turbulent flow but what they are using in CFD?

Small point, I know, but for clarity:

"What is the latest research carried out in investigating turbulence flow?"

Should read:

"What is the latest research carried out in investigating flow turbulence?"

The second sentence is clear.

No offense intended.
