Hello Mimaami:
A little more information would be helpful such as make and model of the unit. Typically I would say your warning is a high-pressure or head pressure warning, either way the causes are generally the same.

The most likely suspect is insufficient heat being released from the system, restricted airflow at condenser coil, the condenser fan either not running, or running to slow etc.

If the machine has previously been running correctly you can assume the refrigerant charge is correct, if it's a new installation it may be overcharged with refrigerant, in either case there could be a physical restriction in the refrigerant piping that can cause high head pressure.

There are multiple other reasons for the warning such as a defective sensor, however this would be the general area to look.

You forgot the added benefit, you can keep your coffee hot by setting it on the compressor, and keep compressor hot with your coffee, and run up the overtime.

Regarding your Copeland ZR1 compressor. The compressor manufacturers controller would have given a blinking light indication, so I a ssume the "HP" comes from the system controller. I agree with the Roadrunner, that it probably stands for high pressure. Check the condenser air entering temperature and compare it to the condenser refrigerant temperature. If the difference is more than 16C (30F) then look for a refrigerant side problem. If the difference is less than this, then the refrigerant side should be OK. Check to see if the condenser fan(s) are cycling off either because of a control problem or because they are tripping on internal overload. Good luck. Intermittent problems are hard to solve.
