Line pressure

I have come accross the line which is design for 1.5 bAR G External Pressure , means it can with stand full vacuum inside or what ?

It can withstand 1.5 bar differential pressure.

Therefore, under full vacuum on the internals there can be a maximum external pressure of 1.5 bar absolute (0.5 bar gage).

So, YES, it can withstand full vacuum IF the external pressure is between atmospheric to (0.5 bar gage)
