How to calculate cable rating for specific power

05/03/2009 7:21 AM

Dear Friends,

Please tell me how to calculate the cable size for specific power. is there is any formula. Pleasec tell me

And also tell me in single phase motor, a capacitor is used in starting winding, it is observed that by increasing the rate of capacitor the speed of the motor is also increased. Please tell me is there is any effect on motor if i increased the capacitor rate. If no then tell me upto what extent i can increase the rating of capacitor.

Please refer to the numerous previous threads on CR4 on the subject, also perform a google (or similar) search for plenty more information.

British Standard 7671.

The starting winding is usually switched out-of-circuit after the motor has run up to speed.
