Hi, You can refer to Pressure Vessel Handbook by Eugene F Megyesy (11th edition) as basic of any kind formula for pressure vessel. It's not specific "silo" design but you can optimize. Enjoy your hot coffee

Deign of pressure vessels is different from Silo's design

A pressure vessels uses a code , ASME VIII for instance.

A silo shall count for the tangential stress in additional to the hoop stress.

For a silo you have also to reckon with 2 conditions:

filling and emptying
