Identifying Chemical Leaks

hi,

in our company,hazardous chemicals are using,chemical detector also there for finding chemical leak,but inside the m\c,many small chemical pipe are there.all tupe are white color,it very diffcut to find leak point .my ques is-is there any special type of tupe,if there is any leak ,the tupe outside color should be changed in that leaking point,we can identify the leak and leak point.

Depending on what is leaking, a variable wavelength light source or a themal imaging unit could help visualize a leak.

'Took me awhile to get what you're asking.

What you're looking for is a kind of paint that changes color if a certain chemical comes into contact with it? I don't really know of such a paint but we use a device to detect leaks. It "hears" the ultrasonic sound generated by leaking pipes. Check out their website www.uesystems.com.

There are spray on systems (aerosol cans) you can get as a 3x spray paint coatings

These will show up any cracks etc once the chemical has set.
