Hi Amateen. Welcome to Cr4.

No idea where you are located which would be an important fact. Here in the US, one cannot call oneself an engineer until recieving BS degree. In some states, one needs to pass a Professional Engineer Exam to "hang one's shingle" or practice engineering.

What exactly do you mean when you say diplome engineer? How many years of college in Ref.&AC engineering? What were courses and highest maths completed?

Given this information, perhaps someone in your area could give appropriate advice. Meanwhile, the rest of us would learn how the engineering degree schemes are laid out in your country. Thanks.

There was a thread on this site before concerning online engineering degrees.

The consensus was that employers didn't look at engineering degrees obtained online seriously. That they want people that obtained their degrees through a classroom environment. That will probably change in a few more years when people with online degrees prove themselves just as legitimate as those that obtained degrees the traditional ways.

Many of your degrees obtained online are just fine, however they don't give as much hands-on learning as you'd get in a classroom lab environment for engineering and electronic degrees.

You might want to consider at least taking some of your classes in an actual classroom and do the classes that don't require any lab work online.

Many learning institutions are accepting online education better then actual classroom learning because online they require students to participate more. There is no being able to just sit in the back of the class hoping no one notices you. You have to participate and they have it easier in tracking your participation online.

You also might want to consider that online college credits cost more then taking classes in an actual classroom.

Thanks Mate, for your positive reply, I do agree with you the point you made for on line degree & traditional l degree, you know I have been doing some research on it, I really wanted to do it, I am working the field for last 15 years & have got very good knowledge / experience but lot of conservatives want to see degree to call Engineer.

I also agreed its costing 10 times more then regular class room degree, but you know I do carry the financial responsibilities of raising my family & their education ; VU, Virtual University of Pakistan I found with less prices & high class education with practical exams at their examinations centers, I will look forward if I can make it.

Thanks for you guys help!!

Cheers
