Vortex Breaker for LPG SPherical Tank

Dear all..

Continuing my previous question about Excess Flow Valve before..

Today, i want to ask you again about Vortex Breaker in LPG Spherical Tank.

Is it common to install vortex breaker in LPG spherical tank?

In what opening should i install that vortex breaker? LPG outlet nozzle and drain nozzle only or..??

For your info, the LPG is stored in liquid form (design pressure: 18 kg/cm2, design temperature: 50 C).

Yes!

Vortex breakers should be installed on the pump suction nozzle on most all tank and vessel types. This includes the standard flat botton, floating roof, API tank such as is used for the storage of crude oil, hydrocarbon products, water, etc..

They are sometimes installed on water tanks as well.
