BSEN 60660 and Switches

Hi

How to clarify designed number of operation for lighting switches comply to BSEN 60669

You either have to run certified testing (significant cost), use the mfg provided information, or use a different switch.

We find many manufacturers don't bother to have their products tested with every compliance group and end up using a different device.

You can also check to see if BSEN 60669 has an acceptable cross like EN 60439 or UL or CSA. If it does it will be much easier to find a switch that meets your standards.

Can i get any document stating that the switches which comply BSEN 60669 which has designed number of operation
