Help: Information about Parallel Operation of Generators

05/12/2009 2:36 PM

Hi everybody, I hope everyone is good...

I am currently a student of electrical engineer and I was assigned a report about

Prallel operation of synchronous machines. To be frank, I am really laking even the basic information about this subject. Unfortunately, I also dont have good resources.

I wonder if someone could help me with good on-line resources or E-books. Also, I will appreciate any titles of books regarding this subject.

Thanks

Hi there,

Start here: http://www.deepseaplc.com/

This should give you a basic idea. You can then get hold of the electrical engineers handbook and that should give you an even better idea. From there try to get hold of the Network Protection and Automation Guide from Alsthom Protection (might be a free download).

Regards,

Craig
