Stirrer for Slurry Vessel

I am interested in designing the stirrer for one slurry vessal with 25% solid (powder )concentration with density of slurru 1. what inputs we need for designing and also how to find out torque and motor capacity?

The consistency of the slurry is critical, as is the size and shape of the vessel and the number of baffles. At the moment, the forum doesn't know if the vessel is the size of an egg-cup or the size of an Olympic swimming pool!

In the limit, the correct design and speed will be determined by field trials and best practice elsewhere.

Refer to Perry, "The Chemical Engineer's Handbook", any edition, for guidance.
