3089 is a miscellaneous code. It will almost always trigger a customs or other examination: it is the lazy man's way of avoiding the difficult job of finding the appropriate class. it is "not elsewhere classified."

It will also not help you with potential customers, as they know they are looking for injection molded parts, not 'Unclassifiable plastic parts.'

I stand behind my original post as to proper classification for manufacture of plastic products by injection molding.

And you may mistake SIC and NAICS .

Tough I am not sure which one shall I use , the company D&B Registered mistaked us to 35440105, then they uesd SIC , so I prefer to use SIC while not NAICS ,

The SIC code is 3089; the NAICS code is 362199.

You are correct to use the 3089 code if you are in China.
