thread measurement

i need a final dimension as pee 6g(part is having the thread), before plating i need to measure in which guage?

What is that thread ? I understand 6g but the first part I never knew having anything to do with threading. Clarification needed.

However for normal plating, being of the order of microns will generally not need making undersize.

...you could make use of Eddy Current Testing to check the thickness of the plating and from that information make you final decision on the size.
