If you download Xilinx's development environment from their website (it's free), you can look at all their examples.

I don't think you'll find someone here to give you the code...

It really would speed things up to DEFINE THE ABBREVIATIONS!

sanya31,

Your question is so ill defined and ambiguous that you won't get a response. (I hope I won't regret replying now.) While it's been several years since I've done VHDL coding of an ASIC, I have no idea what you mean by Space Vector modulation. If you are looking for simple motion control, you will locate at various ASIC manufacturer's web sites code already there. If you are referring to space charge limitations, refer to your advanced quantum physics professor and the engineers who designed or the documents of the machine your ASIC will be controlling. If you mean something else, then explain the concept to us like we are geniuses outside of your field, not in your field. Berating and begging will not help.

On a side note, did you look up the definition of the arcane English words of my earlier sentence fragment, "eschew obfuscation" in any dictionary? To make a complete sentence of the fragment I'll construct the following:

You should eschew obfuscation when seeking esoteric assistance. You really should.

See Space vector modulation is a technique of controlling firing pulses in semiconductor devices in order to get the desired output parameters.

And i need for a VSI i.e. Voltage source Inverter.

And for more u can refer

Gee, I did a Google search on VHDL 3 phase PWM and came up with a flurry of articles that included code and chip specifics. In particular I found a nice IEEE paper authored by Ahmad Maliki Omar, Nasrudin A. Rahim and Saad Mekhilef from February 2004. There's also a slew of chips already fabricated and preprogrammed to generate three phase PWM signals. What more could you want!

Nonsense. It is not ambiguous at all, I doubt you have worked with induction motors before if you don't know what space vector control is. I would go to TI and download one of their motor library for the dsp 2808. Even though the code is in C, you can get a feel of how to approach the problem in VHDL.

Oh so if a phrase is clear and unambiguous in an unspecified field then anyone questioning what field they're seeking help in is talking non-sense. I suggest you review set theory and stochastic logic to attempt to grasp the silliness of your tardy argument.

You try to help somebody and then an anonymous stranger abuses you for asking a question. No wonder we're getting less and less engineering discussions here. Why bother.

P.S. Before this SNAFU becomes FUBAR, one should consider DILLIGAF
