Mechanical Sales Engineer – Rochester, NY – DIRECT HIRE
My client is an industry leader in the HVAC / Mechanical Construction and Installation sector in Upstate, NY. They have been in business for over 85 years and currently have a full-time permanent position for a Mechanical Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Perform and provide various types of mechanical system sales, design, equipment selection, estimation, and project management; support project managers assigned to projects sold, support existing customers with design-build solutions, build relationships with potential customers and vendors; estimate all designs for projects to be sold, assure that projects assigned to you are organized, performed safely, and completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Experience:
· HVAC and Mechanical systems design/build specialist with more than 8 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
· Experience with energy analysis and ROI calculations for system retrofits. CEM and/or PE preferred.
· Associates or Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline with 5-10 years of total experience.
· Someone who has been instrumental in the success of their current employer's project and construction areas.
· A person that is more than an engineer and project manager he/she is their clients trusted advisor.
· Day-to-day duties and responsibilities include estimating, designing, directing, planning, organizing, and scheduling project and construction projects.
· Monitoring, evaluating, and making recommendations to customer representatives for improvements to all supporting systems.
· Responsible for all phases of each project designed and sold.
