Pl. clarify me the exact purpose of Selecting the Exchanger of TEMA Type- DEU ? OR What are the benefits of selecting DEU Type exchanger.

DEU should be used in high pressure service, can be in high pressure steam.As

D-stands for high pressure service-a special high pressure closure

E-Stands for One pass shell without phase change

U-Stands for U-tube bundle and used for steam service for high delta P (Shell/tube)
