Capacitor Panel

05/19/2009 8:05 AM

we have a 150/1 A c.T is connected to a capacitor panel but the sensitivity of the relay is too low for switching hence we want to put an interposing C.T inline the circuit, should the inter psoign C.T should be of the same rating of any burden can be taken

Hi, you should give more detail on your application and problem.

What's the relay used for: protection, metering or to drive other equipment?

Do you have an idea what the current level on the primary of the C.T is?

By connecting an interposing C.T may aggreviate the problem.

Regards
