how we can measure gravity of battery and what shold be it good valu for a charged battery and what will be minimum valu for discharge battery

Using Hydrometer we can easily measure the specific gravity of the battery.

specific gravity of fully charged battery should be 1.265. and S.G of 75% charged battery is 1.225. fully dead battery specific gravity is 1.120.....

Specific Gravity of the battery is measured with the help of Hydometers.

Relation between the % charging and specific gravity is as below:

1260 = 100 % charged

1200 = 75 % charged

1180 = 50 % charged

1150 = 25 % charged i.e. treated as fully discharged battery
