How to calculate the size of the bus bar for the load of 1600Amps

Are you an end user? If so, go look at the catalog published by the manufacture that you wish to buy from and then purchase the bus that they have rated to carry such a current.

Are you someone who wishes to manufacture bus? If so, DON'T, because if you need to ask this question, you obviously should not be manufacturing bus.

1. bus bar breadth * thickness * 1.6 amps

2. for 1600amps 100mm*10mm bus bar is enough or 2nos.*60mm*10mm.
