Bus Bar Formula

06/01/2009 1:32 AM

Hi Everybody...

Can someone give me the formula to calculate the Aluminium bus bar size to carry 400A [or 630A] with a short circuit fault lever of 35 kA when we have double bus bar arrangement? Temperature rise, bus bar arrangement and all other relevant conditions to be considered in the formula.

Please refer to your local electrical standards for more information (that and the numerous previous threads on CR4 on the subject).
