PROJECT SUGGESSTION

My name is afemfest and i graduated as mechanical engineer from one of university in Nigeria.My major area of specialization is gen set(DIESEL AND GAS ENGINE).My main challenge is that i am preparing for a profession exam and i need to design a project.Right now i am at sea,i dont know the project to write on or design.please help me out with simple project.

Perhaps running either type of engine on non conventional fuels would be a interesting topic.

I personally have experimented with slightly modifying diesel injector pumps to handle thicker fuel media. I have a small experimental diesel that runs smoothly and with equal power to that of regular diesel fuel but it burns a mixture of 90% used oils and 10% E85 ethanol.

It has super potential as a practical and very cheap fuel for co-generation systems near places that handle any volume of mixed used oils.
