It will be about the same as if the quick release valve were absent, as the quantity of air to be released is a function of the volume of air in the actuated valve motor chest and its pressure.
If the quick release valve were not there, the chest would simply vent back up the air line and out the solenoid's vent port.

The assumption here is that air is required to close the valve and the air is not exhausted to close the valve.Having said that
This depends on the displaced volume of actuator.
Suppose the volume of an actuator is 1.0 Cu Ft,and you use 100.0 PSIA air to close the valve you are using 1.0 cu ft of 100.0 PSIA air that is 1.0 actual cu ft of air at 100.0 PSIA.
Very roughly you can convert this to free air at atmos. pressure by dividing 100 by 14.696 which is = 6.8 standard cubic foot(SCF)
There are more rigorous method to calculate but I doubt if you need it.

Normally, the 'quantity' of air required is very small, and not an issue in most applications. Mostly we are more concerned with rate of air flow, which as a thumb rule some people take as 1 scfm per control valve. This is very rough but should be ok to design the air supply system.
