Personal that operate Boilers, are required to complete couse training and sucessfully pass and recieve a Station Steam Plant Operating License (or similar name). License from First Class to Third Class is required depending on Position and Operating Authority. Each State applies additional requirements. Most injuries and deaths in boiler operation resulted in loss of Drum Water Level, which in some cases indicated a normal level.
