Mold Gates

the hardest part for me is to came up the gate size when i am designing a plastic injection Mold so please is there a formula to calculate mold gates

Start out small. It's much easier to open them up than it is to weld them if it's too big.

It would depend on the material you were molding, too. You want to talk to someone TECHNICAL, not a sales rep, at the supplier about recommended gate sizes.
