Voltage Grade for Cables

06/18/2009 6:54 AM

Will some one explain me about selection of voltage grade for cables?

I have 6.6kV / 11kV (E) cable. In which system i can use it. Can i use it for 11kV (E) system or 6.6kV (E) system.

3.8kV / 6.6kV (E), can i use it for 11kV (E) system?

This is a very basic question that even a cable linesman must know to do their job.

Is this a homework question or are you really trying to perform dangerous electrical work without proper training?
