Cable Selection

I would like to know the formula for calculating the cable Dia to be used if current is known. ( Some parameters are given ) 3 phase and single phase.

This looks like another home work question...

How about you look at the regulations & standards for your country and local suppliers?

All the information you require will be there neatly laid out for you.

What is correct for my area may not be for yours.

This question is one of THE most commonly asked questions here and the answer can either be found using a search of CR4 for previous threads on the subject or, the most basic of google searches.

Come on people, this is an engineering discussion forum not a homework cheat site.
