GE Part Numbers

Please tell me the difference between DS200TCEAG1BTF and DS200TCEAG1B in GE part number.

Not sure my memory is accurate, but I think that is an emergency over speed control board. The G1B was an original and the G1BTF was an improved replacement. Hopefully some younger, wiser person will weigh in with a more precise answer. Until then, I hope this helps at least somewhat.

Good luck, my experience with GE part numbers is even GE has no clue. I work at a Nuclear Power plant originaly built by GE so am forced to buy their crap often. They have no idea what the part numbers mean, what a new equivalent part is or what is should cost. GE, You can buy better but you can't pay more.

I would check with speedtronic.com they seem to be pretty good with repairs/replacements. I don't know the difference but they list repairing both of them.
