06/27/2009 5:42 AM

Dear Madam/Sir We used above both type of starters 25HP in public health engineering. Both manufacturers are high esteemed. But unfortunately siemens starters can not run properly (2 No's) and starts problem very beginning and at last we was bound to replace 2 Siemens starters by 2 ABB starters.Previous two and current two ABB starters are running very well.We used SIEMENS products earlier to huge quantities. But my latest experience is surprising.

There is almost no difference between the two, so most likely the early failure of the Siemens product is the result of improper sizing or connection. You did not state the nature of the failure, so anything else we say will be no more than a guess.
