I am told that human hair is useful as a deer repellant.

Supposedly you collect it at the barbershop, or from the hairdressers, and sprinkle it around your garden.

Supposedly this human hair, will keep the deer from coming into your garden and eating all of your rhudas, tomatoes, parsley, and thyme.

P.S. I assume wasth, and waste are the same thing. A rhuda, is a baker.
