Is this an individual LED component? If so, then the wattage is the product of the current passing through it and its forward voltage drop.

Is it a proprietary LED light fitting? If so then the manufacturer or the supplier can be contacted for advice.

As easy as having a few resistors. Start with the highest and work down to the lowest rated resistor until you get suitable light. Example, start off with a 50k, 40k, 30k, 20k, 10k, 5k, 3.5k etc.

Resistor gets hot to touch...means you need to increase resistor rating to the next level up...example being 3.5k (ouch too hot) increase to 5k (cool as).

Those figures are not set in concrete, so varies of course.

If it is a light fitting does it have any manufacturing labels, model number, internal transformer or power supply labels, etc.

How bright is it (indicator lamp brightness, bright enough to use as a torch at night, etc)?
