Don't forget to blog it when you're done.

I can tell you about horse glue & fish glue - maybe rat glue is similar?

How about Super Poligrip denture adhesive? I know that it's almost impossible to remove my upper dentures within several hours.

Dang! Now I feel like Martha Stewart or Heloise (as in "Hints from Heloise)!

Well whatever you try, it better be something you don't mind having it tracked all over the house.

How would you get the rat to stay still long enough to bond? Perhaps a high tech setup, where a rat sensor triggers the microwave needed to cure the glue quickly?

How will you dispose of sticky rats?

*sigh*

I guess I'm just an old softie, but I find glue traps to be an extremely cruel way to catch & kill critters. Given there are alternatives, any trap where the varmint tries to chew itself free or is trapped there for hours until you happen to wander by to finally kill it (assuming you're not so vicious as to just leave it to die slowly on its own) is at best a poorly thought-out trap and at worst a poor reflection on humanity.

I'm not a "don't kill that fly" activist, but maybe this isn't the best choice.
