bike with jet engine

if want to start from scrape , can i make sutable jet engine(primary one) for my bike in shop floor or have to buy it..? any source of getting that stuff..?

Yes it can be done (either out of scrap or with second-hand engines) but you REALLY need to know what you are doing as these can fail catastrophically and cause serious injuries and death (to the rider and even those near by).

Try a google search of "rocket engine bike" or "jet engine bike" for pictures, designs and inspiration. I would seriously advise just looking at the pictures and not trying to build your own.

Why do you want to build one anyway?

Thank you very much sir, for sharing your technical knowledge with me. yes, I've gone through the pictures, but I want that type of engine just a size of normal bike's silencer, not as big and hazardous as shown in such photos.

As I m a mechanical engineer, I can't let this thought go away. I m really passionate of making such kind of bike (not a racer or record breaker turbo type concept bikes) with appropriate safety and steadiness.

I m really looking forward for experts' comments and suggestions.
