Is that what you meant by WCB?

I have no knowledge of the material. I was just hoping to define the acronym provided. It was one of a number of things/concepts to which WCB could refer. Verify that Weldable Cast B-Grade Carbon Steel is indeed the material you are looking for, then someone with a materials background may be able to help.

It´s a denomination of ASTM for CAST AIRON

WCB stands for "Wrought Carbon" with Grade B.

there are 3 kind of Grade A,B & C which define the ductility & tensile strength.

Grade B is having very good ductility & tensile strength as compare to Grade A & C

if you need more information check the next page

www.matweb.com

or the ASTM web
