Storage Control for Tubes

We manufacture scaffolding systems and frequently we have throubles with the tube storage.The tubes in bars are sent to processing :cutting,bending....and then to correct the stock level ?Someone could help me with the best practice today to inventory tubes in manufacturing ?

Please clarify if you have to store large quantity of long pipes before sent for cutting or you want to store cut and bent pipes. You should indicate the size of the pipes before processing and after processing. There are different arrangements available for such items, such as Tree Type Draw racks with overhead crane for handling, Stacker Cranes for storing cut pipes which need to be palletised and stored in high rise racks.

Thanks ,Suresh Sharma. I need to storage a large quantity of about (6) m long pipes before cutting and they are located in diferent places in the plant floor,this is my difficulty !

Please let me know at how many places you would like to store and approx quantity. Do you have crane facility at all locations?.You can install Roll Out Racks with crane handling facility. I dont know if you have mfrs of Roll Out Racks in Brazil.

Here we store in and out of the store house !We don´t have crane facility,we handling tubes using forklifts(?)I don´t have dificulty with handling;I have dificulty with the quantities - inventory !
