Norismos Alarm Monitoring System

hello,

I have an norismos central monitoring system using N3000-DSP, N2000-DP11,N3000-IMC, N3000-ISC, PC.

I want to change the display text for one node, at the manual we need to use program DTL_23 to upload the data on the busable devices[nodes] in the NORICAN system., the program runs only under MS-DOS. where i can find this program ,or it will be allready in the system PC, [the sys. PC use windows 98]. I need to write new text because I have malfunction node I changed it to another spare so I need to delete the old one and upload the data to the spare node.

MS-DOS is an old operating system that was used as the back bone of the early Microsoft windows operating systems 95 and Limited with 98, so it should be already there for you.
Microsoft windows XP and Vista no longer run under MS-DOS.
You can re post the question in the Software section of CR4 where someone there might know since it seems to be a software more than a hardware or electronics question.
Add to the question topic that it is a MS-Dos question as well.

If you have the software for the alarm monitor, you should be able to install it on windows 98.

They also still have MS-DOS emulators floating around the web.

Sorry that I can't help more, it has been years since using 98 or MS-DOS and have forgotten quite a bit.
