Alternate Equivalent Material for 253MA

07/17/2009 6:50 AM

In one of our waste heat recovery coils in Ammonia plant, ferrules fitted in tubesheet to support coils are of 253MA material. ( 5"NB, 3mmthk welded pipe ).

Can any body suggest me FUNCTIONALLY EQUIVALENT alternate material FOR THE APPLICATION ?

Operating temp. in the zone is 675 to 700 deg.celcius ( design temp of the coil is 700 deg. celcius. )
