Hi,

i used to work for h-well on the qcs side. i am now a customer and also had a H-well system connected to a voith profilmatic. We also experienced many problems.

Tell me which model qcs. Old measurex/Mxopen, or new da vinci?

What i can suggest is that you check your switches, cables, network cards and settings for a start.

What, if any alarms are you seeing on both sides?

Are there any watch dog timers set with too short a time?

Can you monitor the traffic on your network? is it too busy?

rgds

Dear Dave,

Thanx for your suggestions. Actually we have DA Vinci QCS System. I have not worked deeply so I dont know how to see the watchdog timer. Also process person helped me to diagnose that there is some problem in no. of Bins reading by Profilmatic. Since QCS reads 522 bins and this data is then read by Profilmatic Voith to show its trend so variation in trend is due to error in reading Bins data. One more thing is that we dont see any alarm visually and we have checked our switches and other connections.
